Missing Man in Newton County

Update: Carson was not missing. He told the sheriff, he is fine. He  just wants to be left alone.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a Newton County man. According to Sgt. Barry Laird, the Sheriff’s office received a report on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 that 57 year old, Ezra W. Carson Jr. was last seen on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at a relative’s house on Farm to Market 2626 in Newton. Carson is described as 5 foot 8 inches, weighing around 150 pounds, with black hair, a pony tail, goatee, and a mustache. His date of birth is July 25, 1961. He was last seen at 8422 FM 2626 northeast of Bon Wier in Newton County. The Sheriff’s department is asking anyone that knows Carson’s whereabouts or has seen him please call 409-379-3636.
