ATV Stolen from Evidence Yard

Sheriff Billy Rowles reports to us that during the night, Thursday, September 27, 2018 an ATV was stolen from the sheriff’s evidence yard. It seems suspects broke in after dark and removed the ATV. This particular ATV was recovered from a previous theft on September 14, 2018 in Newton County. The ATV is described as a 2016 Polaris RZR side by side. It is black and orange with orange and silver graphics. It also has been lifted and has aggressive mud tires. It has an after market stereo with speakers facing the rear. Part of the frame is orange in color. Anyone with any information on who might have taken the ATV please contact the Newton County Sheriff’s Department at 409-379-3636.
