Cochran Wins Race for County Judge

After a long race to the finish line, the candidates for judge finally finished on a rainy Tuesday night this past week.  Judge Kenneth Weeks was challenged by local resident, Ronnie Cochran for the judge’s seat in Newton County.

Weeks received 749 votes and Cochran received 1,456 votes, making Cochran our next Newton County Judge.
